Now home to the Eatonton-Putnam Historical Society, this Greek Revival Home was originally a Piedmont Plain house and served as a tavern, but was renovated between 1846-1852. The house features twelve wooded fluted Doric columns. In his childhood, Joel Chandler Harris and his mother lived in a small cottage behind this house.
