Recognizable by its iconic copper dome and its Doric style limestone colonade, The Macon City Auditorium has been home to many historic moments and performance in music history, it has hosted performances from artists like James Brown, the Allman Brothers, Otis Redding, and a then unknown Little Richard. It was also notably the site of Otis Redding’s funeral.
