Literary legends, Alice Walker, Flannery O’Connor, and Joel Chandler Harris all began their literary journeys within 20 miles of Eatonton, Georgia. The Georgia Writers Museum celebrates these authors with three exhibits exploring their paths to success. Over 60 members of the Georgia Writers Hall of Fame are also featured. This museum aims to inspire today’s writers and readers while honoring Georgia’s literary heritage.
