Frances Stewart Higgins was an American Glass Artist born 12/24/1912 in Haddock, GA. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science from Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville in 1934 and later was an Assistant Art professor at The University of Georgia. Frances met her husband Michael Higgins met at the Chicago Institute of Design where she earned her Master of Fine Arts degree.
