Central School was built in 1913. This story story building served area children from 1913-1940. This building served as a schoolhouse for local area children from 1913-1940. It was then used as a community center for events and gatherings for many years. In 2006 the schoolhouse was moved to Heritage Park in south Oconee where it stands as a showpiece of this historic park.
